Australian Credit Acceptance Pty Ltd Proudly Supporting
Variety with an entry in this years NSW Variety Bash
Australian Credit Acceptance Pty Ltd has an entry in this years NSW Variety Bash. The vehicle is
nearing completion and will be recognizable by its distinctive décor. The theme to be utilized comes from the recent "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies which are very popular with the children. Ron James, Managing Director of Australian Credit Acceptance and co- driver Mr Brett Rogers of "Callala Tipper Hire" are looking forward to the trek which will take in some of the remotest country in outback NSW and Queensland. This year's major sponsor will be IGA (Independent Grocers of Australia) Ron & Brett describe the Bash as a leisurely drive in the outback with a few mates having an odd drink every now and then??????. But really it is all about the kids and the benefits that Variety and the Bashers can bring to the isolated communities of the Outback.
For the people that are interested the car is a 1970 ZD Ford Fairlain with a 351 small block Cleveland V8. The car is basically stock standard to conform with the rules of the Bash however it has been raised to give it better ground clearance. Front bulbar for protection and a roof box to carry all those extra goodies required on a trip of this type. The passenger glove box has been replaced with a rally trip computer so we know where we are and how far we have to go (yeah sure). And of course the much required car fridge which has pride of place in the Right hand rear passenger seat. Anyone interested in being a sponsor can contact Ron on 1300360450. 100% of your donation goes towards helping disadvantage children. This will be the first trip for "The Black Pearl" but certainly not the last.
